Fiona Rees

Fiona graduated from University of Brighton in 2006 and trained at Chelsea & Westminster and Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals completing her Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and Non-Medical Prescribing course. Fiona has specialised in Gastroenterology since 2019 and become Lead Pharmacist in 2021, with a focus on IBD, autoimmune liver disease and viral hepatitis. In 2015 Fiona was awarded RPS Faculty Level 2; Advanced Practice, in 2020 the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Global Health Fellowship and in 2023 consultant pharmacist. High-level educational skills have been developed via roles at Health Education England Pharmacy teams, University of Sussex, GPhC and RPS. Fiona is a member of the BSG IBD committee and UKCPA Gastroenterology group and has led and contributed to publications via ECCO, BSG, BASL and FIP.
