Herculano Rebordao

Herculano Rebordão holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from IST – Technical University of Lisbon and a Master's in e-Learning Pedagogy from Universidade Aberta. He is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He began his career as a trainer in 1989 and started his first distance-learning project in 1999. One of the pioneers of e-learning in Portugal, he introduced the methodology into organisations such as Portugal Telecom, Millennium BCP, Caixa Geral de Depósitos and EDP, leading the corresponding implementation projects. Along the way he was Head of the e-Learning Business Unit at I-Zone Knowledge Systems SA, Executive Director of Eduweb, Sales and Operations Director at Avanzo Portugal, and Sales and Training/e-Learning Director at Depsi, as well as an IT trainer at Capgemini and Eurológica. Before founding Shift2new in 2024, he was Managing Director of Clouts, where he led e-learning, web development and knowledge management projects. At Shift2new he works on
