Johnny D. Martinez

Johnny D. Martinez is Head of Events and Partnerships at CrowdComms, where he oversees the company’s international event portfolio. He brings a 15-year track record across events and technology, having joined CrowdComms in 2024 and previously led its partnership and tradeshow strategy as Exhibitions and Partnerships Manager. His career began as Events Coordinator at the Global Poverty Project, followed by a role as Partnerships Coordinator at One Young World. Since 2024, Johnny has served as Chair of the Events Industry Council’s APEX Commission, having volunteered with the EIC since 2020. A respected industry voice, he has contributed to Exhibition News, Conference News and Convene Magazine, and moderates discussions on social media for a range of organisations. A politics graduate of the University of Warwick, he is also a Mental Health First Aider and a champion for diversity and accessibility in events.
